The railroad tracks by the Tunnel Hill Heritage are perfect for train viewing and photography!  Owned by CSX, this is one of the busiest rail corridors between Dalton and Chattanooga.  Trains sometimes have to wait for a clear path ahead before continuing on.  This makes for a great opportunity to a close-up view. 

Want to see more?  Travel just 8 miles
south to Downtown Dalton where you can not only view the CSX line, but also the Norfolk-Southern.  Here, the two rail lines travel side by side where over 35 trains per day pass through.
